DHEA is precursor of testosterone and usual finding in urine specimen. However, great amount of this metabolite indicate possible use of prohibited substances. Because of this finding Karate Federation of Serbia required addition laboratory analysis (IRMS) of urine sample at Institute of Biochemistry in K\u00f6ln, Germany.
