The first coordination meeting of participants in the European Week of Clean Sport 2.0 (EWCS 2) project was held in Belgrade on February 26 and 27, 2026. The two-day meeting was organized with the aim of initially aligning the activities and plans of the partners participating in this European project.

Seven countries took part in the meeting, and the host of the first gathering was the Anti-Doping Agency of the Republic of Serbia, which actively contributes to the implementation of the project in the region.

EWCS 2.0 is a continuation of the European Week of Clean Sport initiative, which promotes the values of clean sport through joint activities and campaigns. The aim of the project is to develop the European Week of Clean Sport into a joint, scalable, and leading initiative across European countries, focused on raising awareness about the dangers of doping and strengthening public attitudes against doping in sport.

The project is implemented through a partnership of seven national anti-doping organizations, with the support of experts from the academic sector and other relevant institutions.

The EWCS 2.0 project is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ Sport programme, and all activities are aimed at promoting fair play, engaging different social groups, and fostering shared values in sport.
